In a culture filled with influences of all races, this campaign aims to Get Black Gen Z and younger millennials to see themselves in surf culture. In collaboration with the Black Surf Collective, this campaign was crafted to invite all communities to connect with the ocean and Get Back Necklaces as a brand.

Dominique “Nique” Miller
Dominique “Nique” Miller is an Afro-Latino professional surfer who competes on both the APP Stand Up Paddle World Tour and the WSL Longboard World Tour.
She currently lives in Waikiki and is excited to get more people involved / knowledgeable about surf culture. Her favorite piece of jewelry from the new collection: the medium orange / petal pendants with a 24” Ball Chain!
As said by Dominique herself, “You and your dreams are valid! You can do whatever you set your heart to with hard work and determination! Never give up and go after it!”

Maria Edurda
Maria Edurda is a 18 year pro surfer who competes in the World Surf League. She is involved with Black Girl Surf, a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to helping women of color get involved and have representation within the surf industry.
Maria encourages young surfers to “Take up space and never stop being uniquely you!”
The Brazilian born surfer’s favorite piece from our new collection is our Silver Traveler Rectangle Necklace.

Khadija ‘Khadjou Sambe
Khadija ‘Khadjou Sambe is the first and only female Senegalese pro surfer. Even though her family disapproved of her partaking in the sport and the local community judged her for it, Khadija pursued her passion. As a result, she has been able to travel the world to train.
Khadija currently is a coach to girls in her hometown of Dakar, Senegal and encourages girls to “Break the mold! We aren’t looked at as individuals who can take up space in this industry. Because of that, take up more space!”
Her favorite piece from the new collection is the medium aqua pendants with a diamond cut ball chain – a design that arguably “breaks the mold” in this collection.
